I took yesterday off from the gym too. I was just way to sore. Today I am not feeling much better. I am debating if I should take a second day off :hs:

Wed. and Thur. I spent ~5hour working under my car, felt totally wrecked afterward. Not as fun as a workout, but wore me out just as much.

edit: got rid of my lobster question h::chuckles:h:

you feeling sick at all?

i'd let your body heal some more, especially if youve been goin at it for a few weeks at high intensity. dont over-exert yourself. remind yourself its better for the long-run

I don't feel sick at all, just sore. I think I will take today off too. The only problem is last night my muscles started getting antsy from not working out that day. Which was weird because they were sore as hell and I still needed to move them. At some points I had to flex as hard as I could to get the energy out (which hurt like hell because I am so sore).

word. thats good news. i think ive been like that a few handful of times.

do you ever take 'rest' weeks? i'll usually go hard for three weeks and on the fourth do everything at about 2/3rds intensity and skip an entire day as well :dunno:

I take every 12th week as a rest week generally. I haven't hit 12 weeks since getting back to the gym yet. I do vary intensity from week to week. So some weeks are much easier than others.

boiling some eggs now as a snack for the next few days. I started with 12. One of them was glued in the carton (yup, it literally appeared to be glued I could not get it out, when I tried it broke) and another I think I dropped in the pot slightly too hard cause it looks like one of them cracked. So I will have 10 hard boiled eggs to snack on over the next few days Plus I cooked 9 chicken breasts yesterday (3 have already been eaten :yumyum: )

I have access to all the boiled eggs and grilled chicken I want at work. I'm starting to get tired of grilled chicken. h:

I've been roasting my chicken. Now that it is getting warmer I am going to start grilling some too.

I am doing things the old fashioned way now.

Trying to watch what I eat of course
Situps at night
Pushups in morning
Run/walk 3 miles a day on road

I figure the prison workout system has been working well for generations so why not make it work for me.
