sometimes you got to keep shit simple, when you get to complex, you lose focus. That is why i'm doing quick exercises where i know i'll do it on a consistent basis and so far it's working out pretty damn well.

Thats part of my problem too. I get these complex workout schedules and it loses something, maybe it just starts being too goal oriented or something. So far though I am into week 2 of my "schedule" and have done my workout every night of the week...the eating part is still tough and so is the running (weather and motivation) but it is a start.

eating right is the most important thing. I would put most of your time and effort into that.

I just play around with foods that I know are healthy. I eat them in different combinations or season them different. And I reserve the things that I know that are bad for cheat meals. As far as complex carbs go I just eat those after the gym. Which is fine because I pretty much go to the gym every day. Once you commit it's pretty easy. And after a month or so you have built the habits and you don't feel like you are missing anything.

word. I know I'll never eat a healthy diet, so I just try to make healthy decisions when I can. But for the most part, just focus on getting exercise because my stomach pwns my brain.
