Official HAN Fitness Camp III
A shitload of carbs is great, as long as you plan on burning them off.
just got back from the gym. Boobies and ab ripper today. I've been doing side bends with a 60lb dumbell, and my obliques are feeling toight
h:
I also may have just agreed to run a 10k race with my mom
h: It runs through downtown denver and you start at Coors Field (rockies), run through the stadium and then run through the Pepsi Center (Avs & Nuggets), then run across the highway to Mile High. I've never really run a race before, but 6 miles shouldn't be too bad since I'm already running 4 a couple times a week. Just to be sure, I'm going to try to get it up to 8 miles before the race (sep 13 or something like that). Wish me luck :hsugh:

If you want to take a shake prior to bedtime, I'd look for a good Casein Protein powder. Casein Protein takes longer to digest than other proteins.

Tried out the gym this AM.
Liked it alot better, still a decent crowd, but it's typically older people. My mom went with me too so that was pretty cool.
Still dont think I could do that on a weekly basis....I hate getting up earlier than I need to.
Kicked the Special K diet...shit is way too expensive, and you have to buy different types of different products. Investing in Lean Cuisine meals. Delicious and pretty inexpesive.

An update on me. I have not been eating well at all, my stress level is to the point that I am about to break, and I need an outlet, even a 20 minute one during the day to get away from everything and just have some me time.
So I got an iPod Shuffle yesterday from Amazon (should be here this afternoon) since I don't want to run with my iPhone (thus the getting away). I am going to walk down to the football field and then do some interval running with some hill intervals mixed in once a day (hopefully in the morning before work) and see if I can't get my blood pressure and stress down some.

well, workout crew, another journey begins.
i joined a weight loss program at a fitness and wellness clinic in my town. i did it more for the accountability and motivation than anything as their outlook on foods and nutrition is on par with what i was used to. there are a few variations but they are mostly insignificant. anyway, i stepped on the scale at 300.8 and 16x/9x bloodpressure.
so here goes.
the start of their program is "meat only" for four days, then from the fifth day on it's "normal" stuff. i don't have the list in front of me but it's pretty basic.
yesterday i had 4 eggs for breakfast (3/1 whole to white ratio), a meat only combo from the local greek place and some chicken for dinner
today i had 4 eggs (2/2 ratio) for breakfast.
i got up this morning and walk/jogged about 1.8 miles. it took me 31 minutes. i know i can improve this but it will take time.
anyway, that is all for now.
