I also may have just agreed to run a 10k race with my mom

h: It runs through downtown denver and you start at Coors Field (rockies), run through the stadium and then run through the Pepsi Center (Avs & Nuggets), then run across the highway to Mile High. I've never really run a race before, but 6 miles shouldn't be too bad since I'm already running 4 a couple times a week. Just to be sure, I'm going to try to get it up to 8 miles before the race (sep 13 or something like that). Wish me luck :hsugh:
That is cool. I have always wanted to run one, but no one I know would do it with me.

Great progress Jae. Keep watching that diet and once that waist number comes down you will be good to go. Other numbers are decent

Liked it alot better, still a decent crowd, but it's typically older people. My mom went with me too so that was pretty cool.
Still dont think I could do that on a weekly basis....I hate getting up earlier than I need to.
Kicked the Special K diet...shit is way too expensive, and you have to buy different types of different products. Investing in Lean Cuisine meals. Delicious and pretty inexpesive.
Watch the sodium in those things, that alone will kill you. Eating lean is not cheap, but you will notice so much difference that your body will thank you for the expense.
An update on me. I have not been eating well at all, my stress level is to the point that I am about to break, and I need an outlet, even a 20 minute one during the day to get away from everything and just have some me time.
So I got an iPod Shuffle yesterday from Amazon (should be here this afternoon) since I don't want to run with my iPhone (thus the getting away). I am going to walk down to the football field and then do some interval running with some hill intervals mixed in once a day (hopefully in the morning before work) and see if I can't get my blood pressure and stress down some.
