So I finally bought my protein supplements. I ran out a couple months ago of some GNC crap I had. I also used the rest of my Muscle Milk Light. I hated the MML because it would never fully disolve in my shaker and would just be all clumpy when i go to drink it. I bought http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/a...lend-5-lb.html for $30/shipped. I got the Cinnamon Bun flavor. That is going to be a daily drinking protein shake. For my pre and post workout drinks i got
Amazon.com: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Instantized Whey, Tropical Punch, 5-Pound Tub: Health & Personal Care Amazon.com: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Instantized Whey, Tropical Punch, 5-Pound Tub: Health & Personal Care
Optimum 100% Whey Protein - Gold Standard 5lb Tub of Tropical Punch for $38.03. A little more then I was looking to spend. But at least this will last me a couple months.

Thanks for the heads up about the All The Whey stuff. I'm not sure how great it is, but for the price I couldn't beat a 5lb tub.

Also, i'm use to mixing my drinks with Water. I see people using skim milk also. Which do you guys prefer using. I'd try the skim milk but i'm lactose intolerant and i'd rack up a pretty hefty bill taking lactaid pills all the time.

Water

No sense in adding more calories.

If you absolutely cannot stand it, you could try mixing it with Rice Dream.

Skim milk personally. Then add a banana and skrawburries and some yogurt and ewww weeee. But thats me trying to maintain my 181-185 weight.

Getting on the bench again tonight. Going for 260 for 3. That would be a 10lb increase in a week. Holla.

Hey Jae, I think you should worry about cutting down first. I wouldn't even drink the protein if I were you.

Hmm, I want to disagree h:, but since it's you, I'll have to give my reasoning.

Building muscle will allow you to burn more fat, so anything he can do to retain muscle will be beneficial to his overall fat burning.

Drinking the protein would even be better if it were in place of a meal.

It's really going to help me out late at night before bed. That is the point when i'm usually really hungry. As Brett has commented before on one of my facebook statuses, i was considering eating something that is roughly 450calories late at night. He suggested a protein shake. I would've done that had I had some protein, so instead I just went to bed hungry.
