true true Joe. I try to eat pancakes and waffles during the weekend for breakfast and lots of bread. I'm going to get some lunch meat so I can have ham sandwiches during the day also. My dad just made a cake and I have been eating a bunch of that too

When you guys make protein shakes do you put ice cream or something in it? I just use milk and the powder (and different oils). It tastes like ass I have to hurry and chug it or I feel like i'll throw up. I don't know maybe it's just me. And I eat the tuna plain thats horrible too. But your body can only use so much protein the rest just goes out the other end if you know what I mean, so it's pointless to just eat a ton of protein

I have the shakes with either water to chug, or milk to drink normally. I got a really good tasting brand though. GNC Pro Performance - 100% Whey Protein STrawberry

21 grams protein per scoop... I have 2 scoops a setting.


Try blending a banana or two in with youyr mix, You'll get the added potassium, plus it might taste better

I have not tried putting ice cream in the shake but that may help[ it taste better though and also add some calories to it. The normal shakes taste gross to me at first but after a week they are fine once I get use to them. I remember Joe said one time that he puts orange juice with vanilla protein powder and it tastes like an Orange Julius. That sounds pretty good. Also I get the time release protein shake so if you take a lot you dont just get rid of it. It releases over time into your system

thats good. To gain weight. I add reduced fat milk or regular vitamin D milk to it. Makes it thicker:yumyum:

Vanilla is good too mix... but the best one ever is penut butter flavor!

So for the past week and a half I have been eating 3 meals a day and got back on protein 4 days ago. So far I have gained 7 pounds and have been working out. I made a new recipe for my protein shakes too. I add milk, a few scoops of whipped cream, couple dashes of vanilla extract then the protein mix. Pretty good and chock full of caloriesMy goal is to get to 185-190 within the next 3 months. Solid muscle.
