I have heard that about creatine but I wouldn't think protein would do that but I'm not sure. I think body builders take like 3-4 times their body weight in protein.

HOW!
How is everyone doing on their workout programs? I am still about 175 lbs but I can tell I am getting more toned and I think I'm gaining more bulk. I've been taking 60 grams of protein a day in powder form. I'm going to start taking two shakes a day for 120 grams and whatever I can intake by eating.
last month, i increased my food intake and changed my workout routine a bit. basically i cut my schedule to 3 days from 4, and stopped running on the treadmill (since i play ball on the weekends).
anyway i'm pleased w/the results. here are the areas where i noticed the most difference:
flat bench press: 265lbs x 3 (last month: 225lbs)
military press (front): 185lbs x 5 (last month: 175lbs)
preacher curl: broken bar with a 45lb plate + 20lbs each side x 6 (last month: 45lb+10lb)
standing curl: 90lb broken bar x 6
not bad for being 5'10" 160lbs?
