Official HAN Fitness Camp III
I had a buddy come back from a trip to India yesterday, so we celebrated him not being killed by having tacos and beer. I had 3 tacos and 4 beers. It was a nice break and I don't regret it. Didn't get to work out last night so this morning I did a few quick sets of full body exercises (goodmornings, lunges, squats, overhead press, straight arm raises and bi's-tri's and a a set of wide pull-ups and regular pull ups.) Only took about 15 minutes to superset it all. In the end.. out of breath and awake!
I've been consistently getting in a good workout about 3 times a week lately with good results. Picked up an iron gym for $30 total at warlmart, but I've only been using it for pushups (really like the deep ones, whatever the name) since I found out I can't (yet) do enough pull-ups to make it worth while - no real cardio benefit from 5 pullups and then having my biceps take 5 times longer to recover

I could do about as many in HS but I weighed less back then, I basically look a lot stronger than I actually am now :hs:

Well, there may be no cardio benefit, but you're still building up muscle. And if you ever want to be able to do a whole bunch, you gotta start somewhere. Does the iron gym have handles that just stick out perpendicular to the bar? I find those to be the easiest.
I might have to try those in a couple weeks, but I'm still slowly making progress w/ free weights. It won't be that long before I can move up to my ~50lb. sand-filled weights(currently doing sets of 12 with ~35lbs.) so by then, or before, it might be more convenient and better overall to just move to pull-ups since you're working more muscles at once.

I only lifted twice and ran once ftl. :*(
