Just got back...abs, shoulders, traps. Easy workout, getting back into the swing of things.

Walked 5 miles playing golf on friday, walked a few miles yesterday afternoon at a pro tournament. There was about a 300 foot elevation change from the bottom to the top of the course...it was some steep walkin o:

She's actually on the bandwagon, now. Back in the day, she made VERY rich food and snickered when I explained that we couldn't eat that way forever. Now that it's taken its toll, she's not talking shit about having a simple, healthy diet. She was never an athlete, so she has no muscle memory, so she gets discouraged when her body doesn't shrink the way she wants it to.

I think my tough-love attitude while exercising discouraged her from working out with me. I talk shit, cause it's motivating, but she really can't take the drill sergeant routine. I personally like the foot in my ass. h:
I'm slowly trying strip the tough, and show some love on the work-out tip. We'll see how it goes. :shrug:

werdage, girls are like that dawg, I give hints to my fiancee about working out and she just gets annoyed. And if they don't see the weight number go down, they'll give up. It's all good though, we do DDR about 2 to 3 times a week, give her some cardio action. Maybe when she gets out of school and go to work, she'll work out with me more.

i hit up the elliptical in the basement every day during the week too, gonna hit up the parkway with my friend this weekend hopefully with the rollerblades, no homo

Glad I'm not alone. o: You're absolutely right about how they get discouraged. We have a bike path along a canal that leads to the beach. I'm going to suggest to her that we go after work and on the weekends. We'll start out going halfway and back, etc. until she can reach the beach comfortably. Heading due West, the wind beats the shit out of you, but as long as you keep moving (not matter how slow), you get pretty far.

I noticed that using pandora on my BB and blading to the beat makes the difference. Blading to the beat > blading by itself.
