Official HAN Fitness Camp III
That's what i do. Every week i increase the weight that i'm working with. I'm a litle surprised honestly that in just 4 weeks my leg strength went up ALOT and i can now effectively bench press 50 more lbs then i could before. I must admit, i had big arms but there weren't any muscle to them. I was weak. I would be at the gym and would be lifting 70 maybe 80lbs on teh bench press. Yes i'm not proud of it but so what. Now i'm at 120 and next week i'm going to shoot for 130 x6 reps/3 sets. I haven't noticed any increase in my arm size though and im not losing weight like I would like to but I can feel musle within my arms and ooooooooh does it feel good.

Keep up the good work and don't fall off the wagon. it's easy slack off. if you get bored of the monotony, try different exercise to mix it up.
who gives a crap what anyone else think, do it at your own pace and strength. You don't have to impress those meatheads at the gym.

I wish i had a way to measure my growth. I have been ghetto and trying to use a tape measurer but it's not working out that well :chuckles:
Any suggestions?
Main thing i want to work on is building muscle so that when i start cutting i'll have muscle to show instead of nothing lol.

I don't measure, i just flex in the mirror
or ask your fiancee to give you an honest opinion.
My fiancee told me the other day, my arms got smaller, but they got more cut. I'm like
I've been focusing on getting ripped and not size.

Here's an interesting question. There's this piece of equipment at LA fitness and I forgot what it's called but it basically simulates dips. For example you put weights on the equipment and you walk around the other side and sit down with your legs underneath a pad. You grab onto the bars on your sides and you push down with your chest against a pad for support. Basically it works your chest and triceps. I don't know what it's called, the name eludes me. But for some reason i'm able to put 2 45lb weights on both sides (180 total) and i'm able to get there 2 sets of 5 with some difficulty. Why is it i can do that but i can't lift more....intriguing.
I just looked it up and i've been going to the gym for 24 days now. 6 days a week roughly comes to 4 weeks. I started on June 18th

Jae: just keep at it and don't EVER compare yourself. The guy I workout with everyday ALWAYS compares himself to me (he's actually bigger than me). When we did chest day and went heavy, I was able to get up to 365 pretty quickly while he barely got 305 up. Then he tried 315 and it just lay there on his chest and I had to carry it off of him. That made him SUPER upset and was pretty much depressed for like a week. SERIOUSLY depressed.
Everyone in the gym was trying to say to him that you shouldn't compare yourself 'cause EVERYONE is different and the fact that he got 305 up is plenty impressive. But nope.. he was and is still a little depressed.
Just go at your own pace, but DO NOT take it easy. Push though and don't be afraid of heavy weight. That's what spotters are for.
