Jae: just keep at it and don't EVER compare yourself. The guy I workout with everyday ALWAYS compares himself to me (he's actually bigger than me). When we did chest day and went heavy, I was able to get up to 365 pretty quickly while he barely got 305 up. Then he tried 315 and it just lay there on his chest and I had to carry it off of him. That made him SUPER upset and was pretty much depressed for like a week. SERIOUSLY depressed.

Everyone in the gym was trying to say to him that you shouldn't compare yourself 'cause EVERYONE is different and the fact that he got 305 up is plenty impressive. But nope.. he was and is still a little depressed.


Just go at your own pace, but DO NOT take it easy. Push though and don't be afraid of heavy weight. That's what spotters are for.
