any reason taht wouldnt work?
it should work then if the wiring harness is for that motor...see if it plugs in wiht the engine bay wiring harness in the crx...and let me know...better to even post pics if they are different...there are wiring schematics on hybrid.honda-perf.org that helps to do it yourself if you have to (saves you the $200bux)

ill definitely make sure i let you know and ill take pics of the swap...

but i gotta tell ya it wont be for a while, im mentally deliberating with myself right now but im finding ways to cut costs (without going cheesedikk) so its looking brighter and brighter....

now i just have to decide if i should buy a car here and do some minor body repairs, new paint or just go to atlanta to visit my fam and buy one there!

DPFI to MPFI

You can put the ZC in, but it won't go anywhere w/out the proper harness hookups. You could put it all in, except for the wiring, or you can do it all in one foul swoop. It's up to you.

and how much if i leave it in the car and sell it all.... (90 LS with twisted body, otherwise 99% complete...

Default 86 hf

will a 91 crx si motor bolt into a 1986 CRX hf. its a d16 i believe. Are the mounts different for the EW1 or whatever is in there right now. I am just contemplating this. If anybody can tell me why i should or should not do this please do. I am good with wiring and custom fab work, so that alone will not scare me out of this swap, but money will. If it will be costly i will deal with the 58 horsies i have now. Thanks.

It'll take some wiring www.hasport.com

I'm not sure what, if anything special, needs to be done if you swap in a 5-spd tranny and take out the 4-spd. You will want to get the ZC tranny w/the engine, unless you have an Si one sitting around, and you'd want to get the Si tranny w/the Si engine if you go that route.

You won't need bolts, for they bolt right in. For the ZC you'll have to get 89 Teg axles and you'll also have to run two wires from your dizzy to your exhaust cam sensor.

Cost wise....are you doing it yourself or having a shop do it?! Tack on an extra grand or so if you're having a shop do it.

About 1000...plus or minus. Alot depends on how much prep work you're gonna do on the engine (new gaskets, belts, etc?!)
