the zc is a dohc d series engine...it bolts right in w/o mounts...the 4 door has the same engine bay...wiring depends on if its mpfi...you'll need an ecu from a 88-89 teg (dohc) or one from a zc

I do not know of any current cable trannies...i'd like to know the advantage of the hydro system over a cable unit

with all the lines, master and slave cylinders the hydro system must cost more and increase weight over a cable system

the brown valve cover was the d16a1 (113hp dohc made from 86-87) and the black valve cover was the d16a3 (118hp dohc made from 88-89)...i belive the mounts are different and it won't bolt in a 88-91 ef chassis only the 84-87 chassis but requires mpfi conversion
