I'm planning on swapping a GSR into a 89 Civic (4 door) I have all the money saved up. I was just wondering if I could get some insight as to which year Integra I should take it out of. And what other things I'm going to need(Wire harness, Motor mount..etc) And if it's worth it in general. Any input would really help.
What is needed to swap in a y8 into my GF's 91 Dx? It's suposed to be bolt in correct? But obviously there are other issues besides that that need to be addressed. Also, did the Y8 ever come in a auto tranny configuration as that's what my GF's civic is and she does not want to learn stick. If not, what are my options for bolt in swaps for the auto tranny? I'm not looking for super power but anything is better than the 1.5 she's got in there now. Thanks in advance.
Which axel combo do you need for a b18 swap? Anybody got any links to a b18c install? Im trying to set up a gsr swap, and trying to stay as simple as possible. I was thinking of using a b18c (perhaps a c5) block and then using everything else from a 1st gen b16 swap. Im pretty sure the ecu would have to be chipped, for the bigger engine but aside form that im not too sure what else would be need.
Thanks in advance,
Thanks in advance,

Okay, I got an idea, Only true Honda guys will know/understand this one. Will a s2000 f20 fit into a s600? Ah now that would be a sweet swap. If I had the money I would do it.

I had the oppertunity to get two Z600's for free, but I had nowhere to put them. Not quite an S600, not even close, but they were made around the same time. The S600 was never officially imported into the United States, and they are rare as hell in Japan.
it's only money, The s800 had a driveline. You could shorten the s2000 diff. and driveline to make it fit. I bet you could shoehorn and do some welding and get the engine it. I waqs thinking the problem would be the middle tunnel. On the s2000 it's really high, but the s600 it's not even there.
I would imagine the rear axles of the S2000 would be way too wide for the S600, not to mention the differential itself would probably be way too big to stuff under the car.
It's a neat idea, but those cars are tiny little roadsters. It would take a lot of work and serious modification to a rare and valuable car. Not worth it IMHO.
