Default 89 Integra ZC 1.6L non V-tec

Does the 89 Integra ZC 1.6L non V-tec bolt right up to the 1991 Honda Civic Si HB trans and engine mounts? Also do the a/c, altenator, and power steering swamp from the stock motor to the ZC? Thanx

also...what are the stock hp and tq ratings of a DOHC ZC?
If I were in your position, I would do the MPFI conversion now and wait for the swap to change over the transaxle. You don't need to do as much to swap the FI system, plus it would be easier to swap the transaxle when everything is out, so you might as well save it for later.

Factory rating on the Blacktop DOHC ZC is around 129hp/106ft-lbs.

It will probably bolt to the transaxle but definately not to the engine mounts. 86-89 Integras use 84-87 Civic style mounts, not the newer 88+ pattern.

a 92-93 GS-R YS1. Be careful to get the GS-R version, as the RS/LS/GS trasaxle was also a YS1 with different gearing.

there are also factory lsd equipped ys1s floating around that you might wanna keep an eye out for...that much power (torque) in such a light car makes it real easy to lose traction

why won't you just get a fluidyne or PWR or KOYO save your self some time and head ache.

fluidyne: high performance

granted this would be better than a dual core but when you can get a new autoparts store dual core for $100 compared to $400-$500 for a nice racing unit...or even get a used dual core for $20 at a junkyard its even cheaper
