I'm with jaje, it sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaging when the pedal is pushed in. It would cause all the problems you listed.

axles off a d15b (crx dx) should fit perfectly as the crx si and dx used the same axles with the same spline count for the hubs (26 splines)...only the crx HF (d15b6) or the civic STD hb (d15b?) will not work as they are 23 splines

by reading your post you are just doing a tranny swap? si tranny on dx engine?

want to get a Crx soon. What I really want to do is race the Crx. Like Street and Drag. Im pretty much a newb here. And I dont know much. The most Standard swap is a B16A1 right? I was wanting to be different/better is there a different engine swap I can do?. Well im starting to think, is the B16A1 the way to go? I can get a B16A 88-91 (SiR I) Complete Change Over for $1500. It will cost $350 for the hasport mount kit for and the hasport linkage for $50. My budget is pretty along the lines of under $2500 for the engine. Im thinking really gettig the engine from HMO. Well what engine swap should I do the the Rex? Any experience would help too. Thanks.

For about $2500, the only options you have would be the B16A, B18A/B, or a B20B/Z. Of those choices, I would take the B20B/Z in a heartbeat.

I have a question. I just recently swapped an SIR I B16A into my 91 std. civic. When I turn on the ignition (without turning to crank motor on) it feeds the fuelrail the fuel. However, it constantly feeds the fuel and doesn't shut off. Also, when I open up the throttle body fast it wants to choke itself, but when I open slowly a couple times, it revs just fine. Please answer my question if you can and send it to my e-mail address (muffdaddyc85@yahoo.com). Thanks.
