i hate it when its cold out and youre sore. you start to shiver and it automatically contracts all your muscles and it just hurts

No cardio or core all week and half-assed workouts due to being under the weather... and I hit my weight target of 165, go figure.

If I stop by the gym tonight I'll pump out a few sets and get some puffed up nudes for phat.

I've been reading a lot of John Berardi's stuff (Gourmet Nutrition, Precision Nutrition, No Nonsense Nutrition, and Grappler's Guide to Sports Nutrition). So far I've increased my calorie intake by about 500 calories/day and I've lose 15lbs of fat and gained 5lbs of muscle.

I am going to take a look into p90x. I don't think I will follow their nutrition guide (since I am having so much success already) but the workout routine could lead to huge gains. I'll let you guys know.

never heard of the guy but then again i dont really search out experts and their works. sounds interesting. anything particularly unique about what youve read or what youre eating?

hope it all works out

As far as what I am eating it's what you would expect...Lean meats and vegetables....what make it's different is nutrient timing. I eat 6 meals a day made up of a certain amount of lean protein and fruits or vegetables. It's high protein but not low carb because I can have all the carbs from fruit and vegetables I want. But if I want complex carbs like breads and pastas I can only have them within an hour after a work out. It actually works out well...if I am really craving pasta or something it forces me to go to the gym first :chuckles:

Also, 10% of my meals can be cheat meals (whatever I want) and because I am eating 6 meals a day for 7 days a week that's 42 meals so it means I can cheat on 4 meals a week. So between after workout meals and cheat meals I am really not very limited.

So like I said, I eat more now, lose weight, and put on muscle
