I have a question for you workout peeps. So I normally consume about 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight on workout days. So for me I'm taking in like 260 grams a day. Well my question is on off days do you guys maintain your protein intake or lower it some? I usually work out on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, take Wednesday off, workout Thursday and take Friday and Saturday off. I can see maintaining protein intake on Wednesday because I'm still recovering for Tuesdays workout. But on Friday/Saturday I'm on the fence as to how much protein I should be taking on. I suppose Friday would remain because of Thursdays workout. But what about Saturday

260grams of protein is overkill... 1gram/lb is plenty. anything over that is not going to get processed.

thats odd cause I've read in many articles that 1.5 grams per pound is normal for a workout regimen
