Oh, and I am tired of getting late night messages and emails about how members of this board hate it here because of the super bias and how they got banned for saying something against Honda and how this board sucks. Why them come complaining to me, I have no idea, but it has happened like 5 times.

Just to add something that noone has said, the 2002 vs 2003 altima dyno is not real proof. No engine puts out the exact same amount of power each time it is manufactured. BMW's limit is 12% off/in addition to their claimed horsepower, I believe. That's quite a bit. However, the loss of torque is interesting nonetheless.

Why are you guys arguing over 5 hp?
The difference between 240 and 245 hp is so insignificant that it would hardly affect performance at all. There isn't a single person here who could tell the difference between 240hp and 245hp by driving the car.

You are correct, and Nissan wasted their R&D dollars to gain a pathetic 5hp. That's so pointless, but they really wanna have class leading hp I guess.

That could also be true as well. Which means that they're not wasting any $$ on R&D and still have the top HP spec for the marketing to work with.
