BMW's limit is 12% off/in addition to their claimed horsepower, I believe. That's quite a bit. However, the loss of torque is interesting nonetheless.

Very good point. I know this but everyone was complaining about a few HP differences, that's why I had to give some kind of proof. But yes, that's very true. Which is why it doesn't really matter if a manufacture state 240HP or 255HP because like you said, that's still w/in the valid HP range.
