DC294GSR:
Hes willing to give me whatever i need as he will be replacing those parts (except maybe the axles I don't know). He says he wants a GSR motor.

Well I havent done the swap, but i hope to in the near future. I mentioned those things because thats what you will need, stock CRX mounts wont hold a B series.. The shift linkage needs to be shortened most likely to fit the CRX.. The ECU and wiring harness dont match up obviously, different engines..heres what ive found so far..

Axles:

ECU: ..can be done other ways...(e.g. hondata, etc)
http://app1.hybridgarage.com/store/h...2%2001%20Z8487

Wiring Harness for that ECU:

Shift Linkage:

Engine Mounts:

If anyone has anything to add to the list or knows a better place to get this stuff, hook us up

I'm assuming you already have a complete block to go with that head. You'll need axles, a timing belt, an ECU, and possibly a wiring conversion depending on the model of your CRX. There was a really good write-up on ALL the things you need a while ago.

I was going to put a B18A1 into my EG hatch. But the B18A1 is a cable tranny, and the EG ran a hydro tranny if i'm not mistaken. What's the cost of a hyrdo-cable tranny conversion kit? And does it bolt right in?

HASport makes the conversion kit you need, it is bolt on and costs around $200. For that price you might want to look into selling the cable transaxle and buying a hydrolic one.

d16y8 into a crx dx... i know it needs the dpfi conversion harness but if i get the engine bay harness from a 96+ d16y8 it should be relatively easy, right? i dont have to worry about wiring interference to the rest of the car?

i'm not sure if the engine harness from a 96+ will just snap onto the car's main wiring harness...i don't think it will be as simple as it sounds...i'd research the hasport's dpfi - mpfi engine wiring harness conversion package (you will need the injector solenoid and several other bits)
