guys, i have a stupid q.

i saw some 6.5 infinity kappa 3 way speakers. they have external cross overs but not component systems.
do i just stuck these crossovers in the trunk or do i have to connect them somewhere else?

also, if i dont have any amps, will these perform good or am i better with speakers with no crossovers ?

 

most people mount the crossovers inside the door panel close to the speakers to which they are connected. I dont know how good they will sound with no amp, I never ran em off the head unit, im think they would sound like:booty:

 

Hey, what do you guys think of the Infinity Kappa 60.5cs component set...I checked crutchfield.com and these would fit the 5th Gen Accord just right (according to the site). I just figured crutchfield is reputable enough to not report something that won't fit.

 

Infinity's are cool. In thier(crutchfield) magazine they have a chart that shows the depth of the enclosure for stock speaker replacements. I dont know why they dont have that same thing online:dunno: I would check the infinity's out first and see if you could find out their mounting depth then get back to us and we/I could tell you if they will fit ok.
