Default Is the 5th Gen Ex gearing same as 5th Gen Si?

Is the gearing and such all the same from the 5th Gen EX to the 5th Gen Si? I'm planning on replacing the engine and tranny as it seems to be having problems.

Also another problem I ran into is that the previous owner for some stupid reason wired the headlights so the highbeams are low and the low beams are high. Which wires do I need to switch back? He did it right at the headlight socket.

They should be the same, if i am understanding the question correctly...
They have the same motor(d16z6) and transmission.
5th gen Ex is 93-95 Coupe/ 92-95 Sedan
5th gen Si is 92-95 Hatch

The transmissions are geared differently. Talk to HatchVX, he's used both and knows the difference.
