Is the 5th Gen Ex gearing same as 5th Gen Si?

The 5th gear isn't the same, the Si is a bit tighter by a couple teeth. That's the only difference.

On a SI trans u run about 3,800k at 80mph, and on an EX trans u run about 3500k at 80MPH, Its b.c the SI is suppose to be the sport trans, and the EX is the cruiser.

I was talking about the gears that matter...lol...besides...I'll take the EX's longer 5th for highway.

the si trans is alot better than the ex cause i have an si trans on my mini-me and i take out ex like nothing...

The Si is a bit lighter than the Ex so yes you should be faster.
