yeah, you would have to cut the back of the stock speaker supports. Then you shouldn't have to worry about speaker depth. They should all fit.

not true, the window isn't far behing the back for the support, so you still have depth issues. Uless you use Kenwood DualMags

you should really check out some other brands. Like CDT or Infinity or umm, DEI components. They are the ****, but they are being slept on. $.02

I am in no way saying that Kenwood are the best out there, but what I am saying is that if you want a kick *ss speaker to fit your stock locations without any modification at all, Kenwood DualMags are the bomb

Default front door speakers

how do i take the front door piece off to change the 6.5" speakers? Is it the circle top clips that just snap off? and if so, how many are there and where? thanks for ANY information, i sincerely appreciate it.

91-92 LX i believe it is. 4door sedan.

Does any know if 1" component tweeters would fit where Honda puts stock tweeters on the dash near the windshield? Can this be done as a direct replacement with minimal/no modifications?

never tried it, but that would sound pretty sweet if it did.
