Few questions:
Uno ~ If I bought my car from a dealer, then modified the engine, etc elsewhere, would the dealer's service department still service my car; and would they still accept my warranty on factory parts?
Dos ~ What sites offer some good pictures of exterior mods on Civics?
Tres ~ When (If) I mod my car, should I learn how to do it myself (are most mods that simple?) or should I pay the extra to get it done professionally?

2. if your car is new, don't do exterior mods yet. you'll get ripped apart by people. get performance in first, much more respect will come with that.
3. some mods are simple, like short ram intake, etc. you're better off having someone else do it. but since you're a girl, you can probably find one guy friend who knows what they're doing and they'll help you for free. guys like working on girls cars for some reason...

2) Just search on google.com
3) Most mods are pretty straight forward and simple. All you need are jack stands, a jack and simple hand tools in most cases. The only mods I didn't do was the suspension since I needed more room under the car and other areas which required pressing out bushings.

Thanks bunches.
Civiclove, you're probably right about doing performance mods first. Thanks for the input...Which brings me to my next question, what type of mods should I consider doing as far as that goes? I'm not looking to be a super racer or anything, lol, but just want some power. Oh yeah, I have an *eek* automatic tranny. :exnbp:

ok... i got the ws for my 2K ex and installed it. i had problems with the rear muffler flange touching the gas tank. avijiggybear suggested to stick a stock rubber hanger there. however, now the tip of my exhaust is leaning A LOT more to the right then to the left. it does not look centered at all.
my question is... what is the proper way to install an exhaust? cuz here is what i did...
1) remove stock exhaust from car, then removed cat from stock exhaust.
2) installed cat onto new B pipe and bolt down to spec 25ft/lb
3) bolt the cat with the B pipe onto header and bolt down to spec.
4) then install rear section muffler and hook onto all hangers.
5) then start to bolt down the S pipe from the B piping to the rear muffler pipe.
6) then i had my friend hold the tip of the exhaust.. while i adjust and bolt down the 4 bolts holding the S piping.
7) here is where my problem occured... bolting down the end of the S pipe to the rear muffler flange... after tighening it.. the flange is stuck on the wall of the gas tank.
8) call apexi today, and they said there should be 0.25" of clearence. but none that i could see.
all in all, spent 5 hours on a what should have been a 1 hour project. my greddy wasn't that big of a bitch to deal with... oh well. so can anyone tell me what went wrong? cuz right now i am frustrated when i look at that exhaust being off centered. please help...
here is the thread i started... but not too much inputs.

I think it's an APEXi problem cause my N1 exhaust does the same thing. I just stuck a rubber exhaust hanger in between the pipe and the gas tank and held it with a o-clamp. But I really shoved it up there so that it's almost vertical.

start off small, like getting a cold air intake and a good exhaust, make sure its none of that crap from autozone or something. and whatever you do, don't get anything ractive. its shit.
maybe the guys can help you w/the brands...i'm not good with which gets max power and whatnot.
and as for the looks, its ok to buy your car a few presents, just don't go overboard until you get some engine work done.
There is something that looks like a sensor in my intake. When I put my new intake I moved the sensor, but it doesn't fit right. What is this sensor and is it neccessary in an aftermarket intake?
