1) Depends on the modification. If it's an air intake and your tranny goes out of course that wouldn't have had an effect. But if you put an intake on and your engine exploded they could have cause not to cover it. You have to contact your dealer.

2) Just search on google.com

3) Most mods are pretty straight forward and simple. All you need are jack stands, a jack and simple hand tools in most cases. The only mods I didn't do was the suspension since I needed more room under the car and other areas which required pressing out bushings.
