Hey Guys

Heres a basic question for ya:
I have a 99 Civic Dx Sedan and am looking for some rims for it. What is the biggest size rim I can get without having to do any modification to the wheel well (i.e. shaving). Also I've been looking into H&R OE sport springs (Drop about 0.75"). How good are H&R springs and with that drop what size rims fit. I'm new to the forum and to the whole import tuner world.

Thanks for your time and answers

A .75" is pretty little. For me to tuck my tires (14" rims) I have to have a 3" drop in the front and a 4" drop in the back (approx).. You might want to get at least a 2" drop front/back and maybe some 16's. Bigger size rim wont really fill the gap that much because as the tire gets bigger you'll want more lower profile tires as well (so the outside radius remains about the same)

it will pass smog if you got a friendly hook up... or wait and dish out $3700 to modacar to buy the edelbrock carb legal turbo kit for D16 engines.

b18b are found on the latest integras (not RSX) not GSR nor type-R 140HP, and 124lbs-ft

Ls-vtec can be done on either motor.
The b18a1 is from the 90-93 integra. The 90-91 were obd0, and 92-93 were obd1.

The b18b is made from 94-up and has a slightly better exhaust manifold, and a slightly more aggressive cam.

Yes cause you are pulling more air from a hot engine bay. Hot air is less dense with oxygen which is needed for combustion. Which is why you bought a cold air intake

Sounds like a timing or valve train adjustment. How old are your spark plugs?

Few questions:

Uno ~ If I bought my car from a dealer, then modified the engine, etc elsewhere, would the dealer's service department still service my car; and would they still accept my warranty on factory parts?

Dos ~ What sites offer some good pictures of exterior mods on Civics?

Tres ~ When (If) I mod my car, should I learn how to do it myself (are most mods that simple?) or should I pay the extra to get it done professionally?
