The edelbrock kit, is a damn decent kit. The greddy is simpler, and more time tested, I do not believe the BOV and FMIC on the greddy kit are CARB'ed though.

Side effects of a turbo D? Well I can't pry the bitches off my jock with a crowbar, does that count?

The Greddy kits don't come with FMICs or BOVs. h:

If you want reliable power, and stay CARB legal- the greddy 96-00 turbo kit is your best bet for affordability and good numbers

you could go with t3's or t3/t4 all in various trims, but that won't be good when a cop pops open your hood to see that.

as far as reliability, the new greddy kits come with a tunable emanage fuel management system, which I HIGHLY reccomend you get tuned (you're in california! there has to be somewhere that can do this for you!)

if you want good pricing on the greddy kit, ask westcoaststyle (moderator on this board)

oh yeah Josh your car gives me a honda boner

t25, IHI RHB5 these are turbos that will spool up in your rev range.. the first one is a 1st gen eclipse turbo the other is a probe and mx6 turbo. both are good choices... dont go t3/t4 without internal engine work as u will never use these turbos max boost/cfm. there is no benefit to having a excessively large turbo on a small motor, if u look at the input/ouputs of the turbo u have to understand that ure trying to send that much air through nickel sized valves, and also are trying to power that much air with little tiny valves.. the pressure drop going from small pipes to big ones has a negative effect on the spool up of your turbo, reducing boost at low RPM's. a modified t20 or a stock trim t-25 is probably your best choice. a d16/t25 combo properly tuned should net 200 whp.

I love my 15g kit. I actually noticed an increase throughout the powerband including down low. I can honestly say that it makes my car feel alot more peppy and you will definitely love the difference. I had one of my buddies back home in Colorado tell me that I could hange with his 98 mustang with 99 heads. If I where going to buy a new Greddy kit I would go for the 19t though just more power and emanage. I hope that helps man. Oh yeah I have the 15g kit on a 95 d16z6.

actually westy, plain T3's are pretty small. its when you get into T3 hybrids like T3/TO4 and T3/T4's that you get to big for a D. Also stay away from 60-1 trims unless your completely built

For bolt on performance, a plain ol T3 is a good turbo and many T3's are around the size of T-25's and 14b's, like ones that came on Saab and Chryslers...

As also stated, for the ultimate in streetablility ones of the turbos Westcoast would prolly be best, especially since they come in bolt on kits and stuff.
