Anyone into lifting weights..?

I'm 5' 10", 150lbs. I've been working out 3-5 times a week for 4 months. I haven't gained any weight, I think I've reached a max. I've got a lot more definition though, just can't lift anymore.

really? Try mixing up your workouts and doing different things. Taking protein will definitely help also.

Change up your workout. If you do the same stuff for too long you dont improve anymore, like your muscles get used to it.

Tweak the workout every 2 months, just to keep it moving.

A good workout program that I was doing was the 5 and 5 workout. You do 5 reps of more weight than you'd normally do for 10 reps and you do 5 sets rather than 3 sets. Each set bump up the weight 5-10 lbs depending on how much you are progressing. You will need to figure out where to start and how much you can add each rep. But within a couple weeks you'll be starting off with more weight and be able to max more. I'm going back on it.

same here. I was 178 and now I'm only 163. I want to get to 180 in 2 months. I am going to start eating more during the day and am going to take at least 150 grams of protein a day by drinking the protein shakes from GNC

I started up on protein shakes again. Sat for afterworkout I had 1 shake and 5 cans of tuna... then sun one shake... and today post workout 1 shake and a chicken..


I weighed myself pre-chicken and I gained 5 lbs

Erik- Do you put mayonnaise in the tuna when you make it or do you just eat the tuna right out of the can?
