What don't you like about the gym? The meat market feel?

 

That and a shitton of people I went to high school with go there. People who didnt talk to me in HS that want to talk to me now. And that annoys me.

And I dont like working out around a bunch of people. I get weirded out and nervous.

 

I felt a similar way and wouldn't go to the gym. But, I relented and started going. My results increased tremendously once I actually utilized a gym.

 

Ill look into it and try to manage.

My keys are quitting freaking smoking and this Special K diet. A few of my moms friends did the diet(her younger friends that are in their late 20s)..and they said it REALLY worked for them so.

quitting smoking usualy means gaining weight.... so watch out for that h:

 

Smoking also causes cellulite from lack of circulation.

That and Im on 'the pill' and it's REALLY awful for you.

 

word up. When I first got my gym membership, all I would do was sit on the stationary bike and read a book. I felt uncomfortable going into the free weights section because of all the meat heads there. But then I said "fuck it, what do I care if some swollen guy named todd is hoisting a keg over his head," and the quality of my workouts and my batman status both took leaps forward.

Hiatus for a bit...fucked up my hand playing goalie for my brother's indoor soccer team. Caught a hard shot on the thumb...bent it backwards pretty good. Hurt like a motherfucker last night.
