damn sorry de-fused.
i really wanted to jump on the 0% apr for the 08 STI, but something told me not to.
people like to escape reality by watching tv and movies, so i feel somewhat secure. who knows though.

i'm pretty secure just as long as people keep being lazy and don't want to park their own car. doesn't really matter though, leaving in the summer. and it's just hourly PT work.
can't say i'm super optimistic about the future job hunt, but i'm crafty, i'll figure something out. i know alot of business owners.

I think I'm secure but right now, I feel as if its uncertain. My company announced a 2% lay off a few weeks back. All the people who were eligible for early retirement (53years of age+ and 8+years with the company) received offers to volunteer to be part of the 2%. They don't have to accept the offer and people who accepted the offer won't necessarily be let go if their role is important, it has to be approved.
Then come December 1st-2nd, we were told that staff will be cut involuntarily. The only departments "safe" are customer facing type roles like customer service, or a field service tech (cable guy).
My role is important however and its only myself and my slack coworker. If anyone went first I would think it would be him.

even though i work in the auto industry, i work on the aftermarket side and so long as economy gets worse less and less people can afford new cars and dealership costs so more people will either repair their vehicles themselves or take them to a 3rd party repair facility. and that means business for me
