this is also very true. I just think that guidelines should be instated before a war start over BS like this.

the only bs here is that iran kidnapped british citizens.

the correct action would have been to escort the soldiers out of the area if they had in fact been in iranian water. they were performing routine duties as mandated by the UN. if Iran was truly commited to seeing a unified independant iraq then they would have let the british do their job inspecting the ship.

iran thinks for some reason or another they are a big player in the game of world politics. but soon enough i think they are going to step into something that they wont be able to handle and realize just how small of a fish they really are. everytime iran wants to be heard they kidnap people. the us embassy in the 70's, troops in 04, now this. they are nothing but thugs playing in a sandbox

Iran may delay its plan to release the only woman among 15 captured Royal Navy crew because of the UK's "incorrect attitude", an official has said. Ali Larijani, Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, appeared to be referring to the UK's refusal to agree the crew had been in Iranian waters.
Iran's insistence the group was in its waters last Friday saw the UK release GPS evidence to back up its denials.
Tony Blair's official spokesman said the UK was not seeking a confrontation.
Mr Larijani, head of Iran's supreme national security council, said: "It was announced that a woman in the group would be freed, but (this development) was met with an incorrect attitude."
He later added on Iranian state radio the UK had "miscalculated" in its handling of the case.
"They have created a ballyhoo over diplomatic ties and raised the issue with the UN," he said.
"This will not help solve the issue. The British leaders are miscalculating the case."
tell me again who is being the child in this fiasco?

They are acting exactly like the Russians would, anyone crossing the border is detained and then put on trial. I have a feeling the captured are in real trouble here.

except the russians had much more well defined borders

and normally the russians actually did capture foreigners on their soil instead of making claims that they were without viable proof

they wont harm them if thats what your talking about.

difference between russia and iran was russia was a threat to be reckoned with, at the time they were the second most powerful nation in the world.

iran harms one hair on these soldiers heads and word gets out, u can bet there will be some smoking craters in Tehran.
