I admit losing the cat wasnt the smartest thing but this isnt a rice rocket. no body kit, no annoyingly loud exhaust, no obnoxious wings or ridiculous wheels. It was modified to be able to run in autocross as well as be streetable. I agree with replacing the cat. But i really feel that this guy toasted me just for the sake of doing so...

And as far as Emissions goes.... Whats worse.... A gas guzzling soccer mom driven Cadillac Escalade or a 4 cylinder Acura? Oh well, such is life...

And in total my problem is the fact that he could have been out busting someone street racing or getting a criminal off the streets. But No, he took an hour to write me tickets. And on another note I simply feel its my choice if i remove an airbag, but yes the car should have a cat. but do I need FIVE summons' to prove that matter? I dont feel I do.
Sounds rediculous to me. I agree with everyone else, all those things were illegal so quit your bitching.h:

Deuces_Wild~ I was doing 45 in the pouring down rain in the right lane. WalMart truck hit me doing 65 and put me through a median. No regard for safety whatsoever. Totalled my pride and joy, put me out of work, a court battle, and a whole mess of things that couldve been avoided. Then after I took care of the trucking company I bought my nogaro blue S4 :driving:

Are you eventually going to grow up and put some blame on yourself for your misfortune or just blame it all on what you think are societal norms? When I was 18 I was pretty happy my car had air bags and when my catalytic converter bit the dust I...bought a new one!

4 pt harnesses on their own are illegal in most all states. most likely because most people don't install them properly.

Cars have to be a certain height otherwise they will dive underneather cars in an accident, and you'll be sorry you did.

You should have known you were going to get a ticket for taking the cat out, that's just common sense.

and I can promise you that almost every part you put on and got a ticket for had a "for off-road use only" sticker.

Exactly what I was going to say. 4-6 pt harnesses are not inherently safer. It takes some engineering to make sure they are mounted at the proper angles to driver's hips and spine.
