I guess its just better for me to be a horrible driver than to have modifications to my car. Im not arguing what i got written for but a separate ticket for each thing is overboard. I was nice, I was polite, I was obeying the speed limit. I agree that a high flow cat is a good option. My car is at 21 1/8" with the 18's on the car btw. And in total my problem is the fact that he could have been out busting someone street racing or getting a criminal off the streets. But No, he took an hour to write me tickets. And on another note I simply feel its my choice if i remove an airbag, but yes the car should have a cat. but do I need FIVE summons' to prove that matter? I dont feel I do.

stop bitching.

i agree that some of it sucks, but there are laws and those are requirements your car needs to meet to be on public roads and the cop did his job.

Hate to be a dick, but no lwayer would defend that. They start at DUI level and work their way up from there. Unless they do things different in VA. The $$$ is not there. Anywho, good luck w/those citations, and for future reference, keep it legal.

dam never mind me tryting to replace my steering wheel, a lil story that happened past the weekend to an fellow tuner with an 2001 Tegi R, who's car had past the $15,000 mark and i know that 4 sure, i regret ever telling him to get an racing steering wheel, the kid got into an accident while leaving an italian rest.. 3 cars piled against him, duno how it happened, but found out today from his older sister that his back was broken in 3 diffrent places and he will be paralyzed from the waist down, its his senior year of high school this year, if the airbag went on it could have prevented it or at least helped, if you think the 4ptn harness helps think again smart ass, cause of it hes back brock, im not a doctor so i cant tell you how the harness caused his back even more damage, what im trying to say is that when style, looks, and performance go too far, please ask yourself is a lil $300 steering wheel worth your live............

racing seats and harnesses arent made for stock cars. unless you are going to replace everything alot of those modifications can actually hurt you in case of an emergency or accident

The harness was most likely installed incorrectly causing his hips to stay planted and allowing the main part of his thoracic and lumbar spine thrust forward into an unstoppable hyperextension which then led to the breaking of the spine in several areas, severing nerves and causing un-doable harm. If the airbag was in tact most likely that would have not allowed the flex in his upper torso into the wrong direction. It may have still bent but not broke and if a break was to occur it most likely would not have been in 3 places.

I rolled my R and went down an embankment, nose first. I never saw the airbag, but I was VERY glad it was there afterwards. When I came to rest, UPSIDE DOWN, I was still belted into the seat. I probalby wouldn't be writing this right now otherwise....
