dam never mind me tryting to replace my steering wheel, a lil story that happened past the weekend to an fellow tuner with an 2001 Tegi R, who's car had past the $15,000 mark and i know that 4 sure, i regret ever telling him to get an racing steering wheel, the kid got into an accident while leaving an italian rest.. 3 cars piled against him, duno how it happened, but found out today from his older sister that his back was broken in 3 diffrent places and he will be paralyzed from the waist down, its his senior year of high school this year, if the airbag went on it could have prevented it or at least helped, if you think the 4ptn harness helps think again smart ass, cause of it hes back brock, im not a doctor so i cant tell you how the harness caused his back even more damage, what im trying to say is that when style, looks, and performance go too far, please ask yourself is a lil $300 steering wheel worth your live............
The harness was most likely installed incorrectly causing his hips to stay planted and allowing the main part of his thoracic and lumbar spine thrust forward into an unstoppable hyperextension which then led to the breaking of the spine in several areas, severing nerves and causing un-doable harm. If the airbag was in tact most likely that would have not allowed the flex in his upper torso into the wrong direction. It may have still bent but not broke and if a break was to occur it most likely would not have been in 3 places.
