Default workout crew: Need Advice...

Okay I weigh about 210 and am about 5'5 but it isnt really muscle more like fat.. I have been going to a gym for about 8 months and lost about 20 pounds... anyway i want to start taking some kind of supplment.. now I was told before by a friend is that i should go to a gym first for a while and then maybe try creatine.. i did a search and seen that some people do and dont like it on here... my main question is what can i take that will help me lose some weight but also gain muscle.. from what i been reading about it says creatine makes you gain mad weight real fast and you like blow up... i dont really wanna get to big... so what would you guys suggest? thanks

Creatine is generally used to "bulk up" so if your trying to lose weight, I wouldnt go with that. Best bet would be to find a good "fat burner" supplement and stay hitting the gym. Like Tirod suggested, talk to a trainer to find out whats good and whats not.

if you really wanna lose weight, do endurance workouts, running; biking, etc. That will help you drop pounds. Creatine also bulks you up, and not just with muscle.

yeah, you really need to concentrate mostly on cardio at this point. Once you get down to an acceptable weight, you can start looking at supplements

Ideal body weights:

5' 5"
small frame: 134-140
medium frame: 137-148
large frame: 144-160

So I'm thinking you're atleast 50 lbs overweight. Creatine is the last thing you need.
