Totally the wrong way to elect those in power? If there was a "right" way to elect someone, Bush never would have gotten elected. Ever ask people why they voted for Bush? Did you get a response other than, "I want to keep my guns", or "Kerry eats poop", or "yeah, i know he's stupid, but...". People who voted for Kerry had real life reasons. Hillbillies voted for Bush, educated people voted for Kerry. Being America, we know how the story ends.

*Before people get angry, I'm not saying everying who voted for Bush is bad and vice versa. It's just that a lot of people who voted for Bush had some pretty weak and uneducated reasons.

 

The one thing we all can agree on.

 

Umm most people saw who they voted for as the lesser of two evils in their eyes. This last election had two of the shittiest candidates running so we were in a "damned if you do and damned if ya don't" situation.

uhh.. kerry got as many votes as he did SOLELY because he wasn't bush. FACT. and you're on crack if you think kerry was even the slightest bit qualified to be president. :ROLLFUCKINGEYES:

 

Like I said in the Rumsfeld thread this last Pres election was a joke and it was simply a matter of picking the lesser o two evils. Both the candidates were crap in a bucket at their best and the third party candidates were whack jobs that made these two look like very sane choices.
