Ah god! Gulf War 1 was not intended to go into taking down the Hussein regime! To keep support in the internationally community we kept it strictly to liberating Kuwait - that was it.

Edit: There was talk about it, Bush Sr wanted to do it, but like I said the international community...

Glad to hear it

And LT, to go back to you saying I'm not "very liberal". As far as economics and business, I am a bit more moderate, you're right. I'm more so very liberal as far as social issues are concerned, like I said earlier.

gay rights: u want a piece of paper from the govt saying you are married to another man, fine by me. but sry to tell ya marriage has been and always will be first and foremost a religious view and aspect. and i cant recall the bible saying mariage is between two men or two women..sry

healthcare: what healthcare?

abortion: i am not against abortions that are necessary, but if you want an abortion just cuz the kid was a mistake, sry not cutting it with me, you know what the point of sex is, live with it.

stem cells: lets get to it, the research is so overly promising i cant believe we are seriously debating this right now. the number of possible cures and designs are amazing

it was already very expensive for a company to operate here. now it's going to get worse, what with the the definite payroll tax increases down the line. hiring will decrease. hell, companies will probably leave. population has already been dropping in this state consistently due to the screwed policies. now there's no one in here to keep this state in check. ugh.

add to that the expected income tax increases, in-state tuition and licenses for illegals , and all the other shit. why the hell am i still living here?

oh, and as far as nationally; bye bye, social security! i pay obscene amounts of money into you every year, but you won't be there when i retire! :wavey:
and this is why I left that piece of shit state a year ago. I hope the state gets even worse. my parents currently live there, but they are selling their house, and the election has just made their decision to move to New Hampshire that much easier. move on out to AZ, were the taxes are a lot more managable, there is actually balance in the government, and the weather is great. unfournately we still kind of have an illegal immigration problem. did I mention that house is also affordable?

why the hell if your republican would you ever consider canada? the taxes up there are way worse, and their government is ultra liberal. Canada is the last place you'd want to live if your a conservative. take a closer look into their policies and I bet you'll change your mind.

the wilderness ftw!

i know all thats very true, but i seriously love it way way way up north in the wilderness.

i would love to dissapear up there, come back to civilization every 6 months or so. no way would i live in any populated area up there.

my only other option is to buy an island from a small country, and begin my own govth:
