There goes the government
exactly, thats all it is anymore in any election, the same thing being said by everyone. makes me sick. not to mention they always claim to be for the average guy, yet they dont know nothing bout being the average guy, their all rich and spoiled. the average guy never in a million years will have a chance of being in office. politics is way too expensive and it shouldnt be
h:problem is iraq is an issue we should have finished in 1991. this country has a horrible problem of starting things and never finishing them. iraq, vietnam, korea. it was a loose end that needed to be handled. people just lose interest so quickly in america because of all the political slandering and "reports" that sides release to destroy their opposition
Then you have already been assimilated into big-spending, complain about taxes being high, social programs failing because there are too many to fund, bitch when Iraq falls because next dem president will just drop everything and pull out, complain that the US was safer with bush when another terrorist attack happens because of dissolving the Homeland Security department mentality.
I'm not going to say you're wrong, I just don't agree with you at all.
To be honest, I really don't like the way our entire country does politics and policies these days. I feel we need to do a revamp of our entire system, which realistically will not happen, but it really needs to. Like many people say, the two party system is shit. Our country is becoming more capitalist than democratic, and that needs to change.
Also, to go against your clear bias against liberals...
I don't agree with the war, but know we can't just pull the troops out
I know we need homeland security, I just think it could use some modification
I don't think taxes are too high, I just think who, and what is taxed should change
And yes, there are too many social programs, this is why budgets and programs need to be looked at.
the republican congress deserves this loss. unfortunately, the governships don't.
MA is screwed.
it was already very expensive for a company to operate here. now it's going to get worse, what with the the definite payroll tax increases down the line. hiring will decrease. hell, companies will probably leave. population has already been dropping in this state consistently due to the screwed policies. now there's no one in here to keep this state in check. ugh.
add to that the expected income tax increases, in-state tuition and licenses for illegals
, and all the other shit. why the hell am i still living here?
oh, and as far as nationally; bye bye, social security! i pay obscene amounts of money into you every year, but you won't be there when i retire! :wavey:

1. this second iraq war , unnecessary agreed. should have been handled in '91. we need to get aggressive now and get a viable exit strategy down
2. as the prolly most hated country in the world, regardless of the large amount of good we do and are expected to do, we have for too long not had a "homeland security" and with recent events one was hastily put together with not enough thought. in general though it was a good start in a short time
3. as for taxes. amen. when i have a quarter of my check taken out every pay period and i see all the mililonaires getting huge tax breaks...somewhere people are fucking up. and it doesnt make me happy knowing how much those breaks could help me.
4. our social programs are shit man. our social security is a joke. welfare is the biggest lazy man mooch out there today, theres a way to provide for those without jobs or disabled, but no plans to help get them off the program and start giving back to what kept them going.
