Not sure if the NSX is in the same class (SoloII) as the Z06. SS or AS?

The NSX was not overpriced when it first came out. It is overpriced NOW because it hasn't changed much since it's inception.

It needs a Honda V8

Shingo
we need the type r, and the nsx could use some kind of forced induction, i guess, but it's not honda's style, no v8s for honda

Ok look I have seen many threads like this one before. Yeah my corvette is faster than your NSX or my cobra will spank your honda. Pardon me if I am wrong but I beleve every one here needs to realize there WILL be a car that will be faster than yours. It does not matter about whats better its about what you like. If v8s float your boat hey thats great. However don't get mad when you run up on a 911 TT and get romped on. Because you will just have been showed that your car has met a force that it can not rekon with. Personally I like honda and acura cars. Not because there the fastest but I like the style the class. I mean come on If you would like to have a corvette but wait I see tons of them. But its not every day that I see an NSX. I would rather roll up in a car that looks great. than to have a car that has been seen many times over. My uncle has an NSX and I can't wait until he lets me drive it agian. Because it always turns heads. So every one have a good day and happy hot rodding.

NSX is faster once you get past the 100mph mark. NSX will tearm up just about everything once it gets that fast. It has incredible high end power

Corvette - $45k
NSX - $80k

Depends on what you want. If you want speed for cheap then the Vette does it. Both cars are good and have their highs and lows. The Vette is highly overrated, its a fast car but everyone who did their investing right can own one. The NSX is a great looking car, but very over priced. For that price tag you would expect a lot more car wise.

But thats just my opinion.

you should read an article that came out in 96 about the nsx... it compared it to the 'vettes and it gave very good reasons to have the NSX over the 'vette.... the car is amazing over 100 mph and not to mention for an exotic it's the cheapest to maintain in its class...

both cars are awesome, i would prefer a nsx over a vette any day but then again i wouldnt ever want to pay that much for a car, you don't buy a nsx for hp reasons you buy it for performance in handling and because you love the car, if u want cheap hp buy an old nova and toss a big engine in with nos if u want a precision machine with legendary engineering get an nsx
