This isn't too professional but here goes.. If you want to a quick answer as to if the distributor is the only thing that's bad. All you have to do is borrow a distributor from a friend that has the same car and pop it in. If you get spark but still the car doesn't start, I bet you anything that you've also got a f'd-up fuel injection main relay.. That costs about $70 from the dealer.. But I've heard that the Accord and tegs have the same one, you might want to check that out..

just make it simple... to test for fuel, take off the fuel line that goes to the fuel rail. crank it and see if fuel is gushing out. If it is, then fuel is not the problem. Next, check the Tbelt. 2 ways... u can pull of the valve cover/timing cover and crank it to see if the belt is ripped or if it moves, or take of the dist cap and have someone crank it, if the rotor doest move than the cams arent moving, thus meaning the timing belt isnt moving. If your not getting spark, than check the spark plugs for corrosion, plug wires, the cap if it is corroded or not, and the rotor. if all that is cool, than check the fuses(think u already checked that), if all that garbage looks good, than u probably have a bad IGN COIL, ICM, or the whole distributer si f$%ked up. most likely is the coil or the icm. hope this helps.

It's not the starter. (eesh, peeps. c'mon, you only use the starter to turn the engine over.) It could be the distributor, but these won't USUALLY go out while the car is running, once power is moving through the electricals, it usually won't go out until you turn the power off.

I'm guessing fuel. it COULD be electrical, but from the sounds of it, I think it's a fuel problem. Either the pump went out, filter got clogged, or something along those lines.

Check all your fuses too. Also, i'm guessing that because you just bought this car, it's probably not a (new) problem. Check with the seller, tell them you won't make a big stink about it, you just wanna know, to help you pinpoint the problem.

Oh yeah, check the fuel lines for any leakage/swelling, etc.

check your fuel pump first if you have any pressure, when you here a kind of hissing sound when you turn your engine on,(the sound is coming from the fuel pump), but if you not getting any sparks when you start your engine check your ignition wire for spark then check the ignition coil for any electrical surge, borrow from someone an ac/dc tester to check the voltage, this will be able to let you know if there any resistance on your ignition coil or if power going through.
