Default lowering my car

I am planning on lowering my car in the future. I think i am going to get some kyb agx's and eibach sportlines or h&r sports. I was wondering the level of difficulty associated with changing the shocks and springs myself. I have done oil changes and simple things before but i do not know if this is out of my league. I know i need a spring compressor also. Another question, do i need to get a camber kit, or would it just be possible to get my wheels alligned, i am rolling on stock rims. Thanks.

you can't get your car aligned if you dont have a camber kit. and doing the installation isn't that hard unless u get a few frozen bolts...those are a pain. i suggest doing the back first (like most ppl) b/c my back bolts froze and i had to completely replace my rear-lower control arms.

Sometimes you can't get just the bushings, from the dealer anyway. But my bolt was runsted in too, H-A Stud says all Hondas have lock bolts or something like that so they go in but don't come out. I know a lot of people who broke the head off the LCA bolt (including me). I took it to a muffler shop and they cut it off with a sawzall and replaced it with an OEM Honda bolt for me, and did the rear springs since I had already done the fronts. BTW, no parts shop had a spring compressor that would fit my springs so I had to do it the ghetto way.

i guess i was lucky...my 94 required only a breaker bar to get that LCA bolt off. i did all 4 springs and shocks in 2 hours.

i dont know how much it would cost... does anyone know. I dont think i need a camber kit... so should i just get them aligned? thanks for all of the input. Also, which should i opt for the h&r sport or the eibach sportline. I want it to be comfortable for daily driving but handle better, i just dont want it to be too harsh. Which one would better provide me with those qualitites?

cost of spring installation depends on where u live...here in socal its pretty cheap.... ive seen people post places that charge anywhere from $150-250 to install springs...thats ridiculous. do it yourself. its free and you learn more about the car
