**Brakes thread**
I would be just as particular if the pads never saw the track. Which they don't 90% of the time. The Cobalts do dust but no worse than Axxis Ultimates that for the performance dusted way too much. The Cobalts dust is also much easier to clean up than the Hawks as a nice side note.
As for noise if you can't deal with a bit of squeal every now and then I sure hope you don't have a loud obnoxious exhaust on your car. I'd much rather have a brake squeal while stopping from time to time than a droning exhaust all the time. My hawks and my cobalts neither sqeaul more than once every couple of weeks and just one time and then stop.

The last thing I woudl "settle" on is Brakes. It cracks me up people do brake kit upgrades when if they would just try some high performance pads would be satisfied with very little exspense.
I might be an exception to the rule, heck I think SS brake lines are a waste of money/ There is little pedal feel difference and no performance gain IMO (And I have tried them on 3 of my 4 different Integras)

Autozone Rotors
Axxis Ultimate Pads
Whatever DOT3/4 Fluid & OEM Lines
This setup is cheap and effective for the street. The one thing I would change, although I dont notice it much, is getting SS lines, since they do tend to heat up if Im doing some very spirited driving. Dust isnt great, but thats to be expected. Stopping power is great for a street car.

• Original stock rotors.
• Raybestos EXP pads [F/R] <-Dust is a problem, but they grip darned well and are quiet as mouse.
• Valvoline SynPower DOT4 fluid
• Stock Lines.
Granted this is a street setup, and I'll be upgrading this setup as I go FI.

a little too late... for me. Well as someone stated above, ebc is crap and it dust a shitload. I have it on rite now and i'm not satisfy. My next pads are going to be hawks hps up front and oem rear. AEM is just a high price oem pad? IMO I think AEM pads isn't worth the money.( I got hook-ups on oem pads thats why)
Last but not least... if you're not going to take it to the track... leave your brakes alone and just get some decent pads such as the ones mention above.(street pads of course)
