Post Questions about engine swaps.
Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows where i could get a wireing diragram for my engine swap. I was told that the b16 a is almost a direct swap excpet for two electrical wires that need to be added. I also need to find where i can get the correct axels and shift linkage. If anyone could please give me a hand i would appritiate it.
Alright, I'm planning on buying a GSR swap from H-Motors Online. It says:
Is that all i need in order to drop it into my 00 civic ex? Also,
1) Will I need to buy a different cat conv?
2) What mounts will I need to swap?
3) I have a Apexi N1, can I still use this or will I need to buy a different cat back?
4) If I were to purchase this motor, should I buy the LSD for the extra $300?
5) What OBD is this motor?
6) Will I need to do any wiring with my 00 Civic EX?
Thats all I can think of now. Ill prolly have more later. Thanks.

I put the engine into my 91 civic and need to know if I need the wiring harness that goes to the ECU. I seem to have a lot of wires that do not go anywhere from the wiring harness on the Integra motor.
Thanx's in advance

Hey, I have a 1990 CRX and I'm trying to put a B series engine in it. The GSR engine is way too expensive for me, so I'm convinced on putting a B series engine in it.

look good to me. They are both about the price I would pay for the engine/tranny, etc.
What I wanted to know, is, if I get the 88-91, could I convert the clutch from cable to hydro? And if so, is hydraulic a lot better?
Also, what about all of this OBD stuff? Could someone explain it to me and what it meant. If I got the 92-95 engine, how much more work would it take me to put it in and get it running good with my CRX?
By the way, the engine in my CRX now is about shot. My radiator is screwed up so my engine overheats all the time causing me to blow gaskets (I've had to replace all three twice already), and my clutch is horrible. It grabs too late so I'm not used to the shifting and it always slips and my tires spin even in the second to third transition. My overall goal is to turbo my engine.
What I also had planned was a type r fuel system, etc, tuned for my turbo. and some better upgraded internals, mostly for speed/hp, and a better full exhaust. Also a FMIC for looks and performance.
By the way, this car won't be daily driven, mostly track. I've already got a Mustang and a Truck I can drive around daily.
