JRSC with 8 psi pulley
JR fuel pump
MSD boost timing master (set at 1 degree/psi, with base timing at 12 BTDC)
K&N air intake
Mugen Thermostat
Mugen Fan Switch
Stock tires, wheels, exhaust, suspension, and everything else
Obviously, if you like to race people, roots s/c is probably the wrong way to go, but for my needs and personality, I couldn't have chosen a better setup

Although I am more likely to keep the teg as is, just maintain it, and save up for a RWD car for the weekends.
stripping your car down doesnt really help that much...atleast so ive read *only time im stripped my car was to help with audio install* anyways...i hear you need to take off atleast 1K pounds just to take 1 second off 1/4 time...so yeah....personally i would go for a turbo...because if its going to be a daily driven car you might as well not have that boost constantly....dont listen to me though i have basic mechanical skills

If superchargers were more efficient, reliable, and made more power...........why do big over the road diesel trucks with a million miles on them use turbos? Which on most Cummins and Detroit engines aren't scheduled for service or replacement until 350k miles or so?
Diesels are better suited to turbocharging. Dont ask me why...I read it in Road & Track Automotive Dictionary a long time ago.
And besides...this matters b/c all civics are diesel powered
And you guys are getting off topic...now this thread has turned into superchargers vs. turbo in general....your taking it out of context.
well? which is better? you guys seem to forget
IT ALL DEPENDS ON APPLICATION
And actually, most 2 stroke diesel engines that use FI have superchargers because they demand a lot of torque at a low RPM....which is exactly what a turbo doesn't do.

I like turbos myself. There are fast SC Hondas out there as well, so I'm not knocking a good centrifugal with an intercooler. Roots blowers are great for street driving, but heat up the intake charge tremendously and intercooling is possible but not easily found...A good turbo setup is the best of all worlds, drag racing, street driving, durability, and if the turbo is properly sized, even autocross. Ultimately though, the choice is yours, but whatever you do, figure in the cost of a good standalone and tuning into the price of your setup.
