Diesels are better suited to turbocharging. Dont ask me why...I read it in Road & Track Automotive Dictionary a long time ago.

And besides...this matters b/c all civics are diesel powered

IT ALL DEPENDS ON APPLICATION

And actually, most 2 stroke diesel engines that use FI have superchargers because they demand a lot of torque at a low RPM....which is exactly what a turbo doesn't do.
