lol, yeah races went well.

Preety much when we went about a 30 roll i pull mabye a hair on him. Every time we went from down low, my clutch just started spinnin and i basacilly didnt move, he will vouvh for this cause i doubt my car is so slow that he would have 6 cars on me in a few seconds. are cars are preety evently matched, when i put in new clutch we can go from a stop and really have some fun.

Oh yeah, just to state how bad my clutch is still ****ed up from the racing. This morning i was on my way to work and an old beater neon was in front of me and i wanted to pass him before we got onto a one lane so iwould get stuck behind him. Basically i couldnt pass him, every time my clutch gets above 2500 now it slips and doesnt stop untill i let off. I just ordered a new clutch today, we gotta rematch in a few weeks,lol

Ill let him bring up the fact that my friends trans am needed a jump start to get home,lmao. you gotta love those relaible domestics,

In the PMs that we shot back and forth, Diablo said he wanted to race from a roll since his clutch was fading. He specifically said he didn't want to break it and have me come on the board talking about shitty domestic reliability. So when his friend's Trans Am wouldn't start, it was just too funny. He even hopped out of his car and yelled "Shitty Domestics!!!"


The races went well, we got maybe one perfect run in. The winner of that race depended on when Diablo let off. We did a rolling start from about 25 and we were literally bumper to bumper, and I think I was gaining when he shut it down. It was so close. REALLY good race. Besides that, I walked him a few times when we started at slower speeds, and he walked me once when I upshifted into 5th from 2nd.
Definetly, as soon as Capital opens up we'll have to start meeting up there. I'd love to race you with a tree from a dead stop. Should be interesting.

Also, I ran your friend in the blue Z28 from about 50mph. That thing was just stupid fast. He easily put a car on me before I shut it down around 100mph.

 

This was a cool thread, we had 150 something posts, a good debate and a race that actually happened......it'll be a while before another thread tops this one!

i just ordered my new clutch today
i had to get a stock one again cause im a poor yougin,lol.
it still is gonna cost around 550 total which defanetly sucks but oh well.


we will have to go again when i get it installed.
i cant wait till capital opens, then we will really have some fun.


P.S. i nearly busted a gut laughin at my friend when his car wouldnt start, but hey whata ya goin do it a domestic , lol

Whats uuuuuuuuup.... I'm the friend in the blue Z. It was defianatly fun seeing what that 350 can do.
It would be perfect if you too could go from a dig on a warm day. Granted Diablo's clutch is workin
