But you are more correct than him by .038% hp!
"Close" only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.

Or math equations where you round off to a whole number anyway. :fawk:

yea dude for enforcing what
you guys may be faster now, but it wasnt always that way
back in the mid ninties the h22a1 was snuffing the z28, irocZ and GT.

yea guess what was simultaneously destroying the police pursuit mustang on tv...a 90 DSM talon with all wheel drive.

Man, where can I get one of those mid-nineties IROC-Z's? I bet they are pretty expensive!
BTW, that was sarcasm, and stock f-bodies have been running 14 flat and under since 1993. I definitely can't defend the SN95, though.

torque alone dont win races

a ****in tractor with 10 000lbs of torque can never beat me 127lbs torqed car.. ok honestly though...

torques dont win real races.. torques with horsepower win drag races.....

vans nowadays are crazy powered.. like the new odyessey vtec 240horsepower van as compared to a 127 horsepowered civic...

this thread can better described as "wow vans can go straight, go straight and go straight some more!"

ahhh just messin with u guys..

Would you happen to get your car knowledge from "civicexpy"? Just cause an Odyssey has 240 horsepower and its g0tz the vtecs y0 doesn't mean that its fast...

I meant that Nathan is an enforcer for being to the point.....I wasn't reffering to power or cars or anything.

I will say that the 94-98 Mustangs were slower and I did not like the look of the design that much then either. But the powerplant in those first generation modular V8's is the same as today except for the following changes: Performance Improvement heads (flow WAY better) and the PI manifold which accounts largely for the increase in power from those days. (among other things as well)

Also with history, just look at the late 70's Mustangs with the OPEC crisis......bad times for the great Mustang those were. Every car goes through bad stages........I don't think the mid 90's were the worst but Ford didn't have their act together with the powerplant they decided to use in the Mustang. R&D helps with any new introduction. I'm not going to doubt the capabilities of the H22A powerplant I know it has potential.
