My new company vehicle is a 2002 Odyssey EXL and I blew away a riced out tiburon on the highway last friday. I wasn't that happy about getting a minivan as a company car but I need the room for equipment and they are paying for gas so what the hell. I'll have to admit that after driving two hours to my parents this week I can see why minivans are so popular. The kids just sat back there watching a DVD the whole time, I never heard a peep. It definately takes th fun out of driving to work though in the Max.
The 240HP Odyssey drives very well for a van. i would'nt go that fast through the twisties though. The Tiburon guy was sadly dissappointed in his car.

If I owned a Triburon, I'd be dissapointed as well. Same with the Celica. Vans can pull some suprises on straight road. I had a Van give me a hard time this summer when I was passing him and coming to the end of the passing lane. He floored it and I had to grab 4th to put him away........gave me more of a run than I expected. It was a new Chrysler minivan.

Someone said it earlier in this thread: "It's alll about the torque" and it's true. Torque wins races.
